Linen is the oldest Fabric known to man. Around 1000 meters of fine linen would have been wrapped around Egyptian Kings as part of the mummifying process. It is a noble fabric. Linen probably came to IRELAND in early Christian times and st.Patrik, the patron saint of Ireland, is said to be burried in a shroud of linen. In 1949 JAYSHREE TEXTILE first initiative to bring this natural fabric in India by establishing the only spinning plant and importing French flax fibre first time in India. The ancient Egyptians believed that linen was a gift of God.
